Matcha Walk #1 (Ballston —> Falls Church, 6mi)

This walk is mainly about going to a nice matcha/dessert spot (Midori Tea House). We’ll also stop at the Rose Garden!

So as to not overwhelm the staff at Midori, there’s a lower cap on RSVPs — but if there’s interest I would love to organize more walks to matcha places in the future :)

Route:

• We will meet at Ballston metro
• We’ll walk to Midori Tea House via Fairfax Dr, Custis & Washington and Old Dominion (paved trails), with a with a quick stop at the Rose Garden
• We’ll get matcha (and/or desserts) and enjoy them either at Midori or to-go, depending on the group’s preference and space available in the shop
• We’ll walk to East Falls Church metro which is our ending point

Milage: ~6 mi
Start Location: Ballston Metro Station
End Location: East Falls Church Metro Station
Approximate Time: 8am - 11:30am (not really sure how much time we’ll spend at Midori so the end time is very rough!)
