National Mall walk... at night (4.5 or 6.5 mi, Arl Cem -> Smith.)

Let's do an good ol' fashion mall walk at night.

Route:
We'll start at Arlington Cemetery metro around 7:45pm to catch a sunset along Memorial Bridge and/or the Lincoln Memorial. If getting to that station seems annoying, you can just meet us at the Lincoln Memorial (~8:10-8:15 pm) if that's easier.

Following that we'll do a typical mall tour featuring a walk around the basin and stopping at monuments along the way.

The "normal" walk will end at the Smithsonian station, at ~4.5 mi. For extra fun there will be a "bonus" walk to complete a more full mall tour, going all the way to Grant and back. This longer walk will be ~6.5 mi.

Start Location: Arlington National Cemetery Metro Station
End Location: Smithsonian Metro Station (or you may want to go to L'Enfant)
Time: 7:45PM-10:00PM (normal) or ~11:00PM (bonus)
Terrain: This will be mostly flat, on paved ground.

We try to be punctual with our event times so please be respectful to others and show up a few minutes early.

Note, we often limit the RSVPs to keep group sizes manageable. If you are on the waitlist but would really like to join, reach out to the organizer.

Our events prioritize metro accessibility by meeting and ending at metro stations. Sometimes we start/stop at the same station, sometimes we do not. Please double check the event description to see if you can manage transportation.
