The Moral Premise by Stan Williams - In-Person at 4Ps Restaurant

Details
Hello Everybody!
This is the third event of the new reboot of The DC Write to Publish Group. If you are unfamiliar with the new format, please visit the group at https://www.meetup.com/dc-write-to-publish/ and read the 'About' section.
We will meet at the Ireland's Four Provinces restaurant at 105 West Broad Street, Falls Church, VA. We will be at a table in the main dining room that is to the left after you walk inside the enclosed part of the restaurant from the front door on West Broad. FREE parking is available in the garage to the rear of the restaurant.
The overall idea here is to knit together a small group of people who share the insane passion of writing, and also enjoy the company of fellow dreamers. There will be actionable topics under discussion, but the 'just hanging out' part is also important because it recharges us to keep going. I hope.
The Moral Premise by Stanley D. Williams is a great look at what a good story is really about. It’s written for screenwriters, but he also pitches it to any type of storytelling, including novels. A valuable component of the book is his summary of what other story analysts have to say about the subject. One of the goals of this group is to share resources that help make our writing more competitive in the business arena, so this is part of that effort.
The discussion will be guided by this document:

So, come ready to talk about your current work in progress and what it's about, and what it's REALLY about underneath!
Edit to add: I know it's a hard ask that you read The Moral Premise in the short time before the next Meetup, but I do highly recommend it. In the short time left, there's a related video that is well worth watching because it speaks to the same story issues. It's from Michael Arndt who wrote Little Miss Sunshine and Toy Story 3. He lays out a great argument for addressing three sets of stakes in your story to make it satisfying - External, Internal, and Philosophical. Take a look!

If you can't attend this, or any given event, don't worry because we will tend to circle around and through topics more than once. Questions can always be posted to the 'Discussions' section of the group.
PS: The 4Ps restaurant venue is warm and inviting with super-friendly staff, a great atmosphere (see photos in the group's album) and reasonable prices across a broad menu spectrum. (Try the fish tacos - trust me!) https://www.4psva.com
