Short Notice - Teaching a class so opening up some pool time for the club.

Looking for a quick opportunity to tune/test your dive gear for the 2022 dive season? Join us for the clubs DIY Pool Party. Great opportunity for those getting ready for a trip or one of the future club events.

$40: DIY “Do it Yourself” Time is yours to splash around in the pool, check gear, chat with dive professionals (if available) and other club members. (Equipment, Tanks & Weights NOT Included)

$9 per/person pool entry fee is included. Come through back door per instructions below or you will get charged at front desk.

If you need to rent gear/tank check out your local dive shop - As an FYI - Woodbridge scuba is closest facility to this venue, 1/2 mile. I will have extra weights and tanks as well but please coordinate with me ahead of time if you want to discuss options.

If you are looking for more formal training like a PADI Reactivate Course or PADI Specialty Course, PADI Free Diver Course, let me know and I will put you in touch with one of our club's independent dive professionals.

Participants must RSVP and Pay by 2:00 p.m. Friday 8 July. Will wait-list those interested once capacity is reached and contact you in the order you are listed if spaces free up. First come - first served for time slots - please indicate which time slot you are requesting via message or text.

Cancelling - because I pre-pay the pool rental fees, should YOU cancel, I will offer/credit you a slot on a future pool event. You will have up to 1 year to use your credit from time of this event and subject to future pool availability. If I, or the facility, cancels the event for any reason, you will receive an immediate refund.

PADI/Club Waiver will be at pool for you to sign.

Facility: Pool Temp is about 82 +-, Access to a designated 25yd lane, max depth is 12', Life Guards, Shower, Restrooms, Locker Rooms, Jacuzzi and Vending Machines available. Parking is around back of building. Use back of facility entrance, far end of the building when driving around back, enter through fenced gate to back door of pool area. Note: Pool is chlorinated, not salt.

Attire: Appropriate swimming apparel if not using wet suit. I wear bathing suit and rash guard, sometimes a shorty if in the pool for the entire duration. Anything over a 3mm might be a bit warm - recommended light undergarments if working on Dry Suit skills or doing a gear check.

Plan: 1st group, meet at 10:30 at back of facility, review paperwork/stage gear. 2nd group, enter through rear of facility starting at 1:00.

This is a Club event to promote camaraderie, dive safety and an opportunity to refresh skills and check equipment in a controlled environment. This event is not affiliated with any shop. To support our local shops, feel free to rent gear, tanks etc. and look at their future offerings as well. By RSVP'ing, you attest that you are a certified diver or have a desire to become a certified diver. You are expected to follow rules and guidelines of your certifying dive agency and the posted rules of this facility. All issues should be brought to my attention, or designated event host immediately so we can determine the best resolution.

By participating in this event, you agree that photos may be taken and posted to the club Meet-up page and/or used to promote future club events. Let me know day of if you do not wish to be photographed or included in club photos. If you bring a camera, please do not take photos of non-club patrons utilizing the facilities.

Finally - do a dive check before you leave the house. Check that you have all gear - cert card, towel and packed a good attitude!
