What we’re about

This group is for people interested in learning about and practicing Domain-Driven Design (DDD). While this group includes experienced DDD practitioners, the group welcomes all skill levels from any industry. This group was started to create and support a learning culture for DDD in Philadelphia and the surrounding areas. This is a group where we can share our experiences and learn from one another.

This group will meet in-person across the Philadelphia region as well as online. In person meetups will depend on location availability and hosting interest. We will try to meet once a month to share experiences and learn together.

What is Domain-Driven Design:
Domain-Driven Design (DDD) is a strategical and tactical software development approach focused on understanding and modeling the problem domain within which a software system operates. The idea is to align the design of the software with the actual business or problem it is intended to solve. DDD focuses on the domain and using a common language to create software, making it easier to understand, maintain, and adapt as the domain evolves.
Ultimately, DDD helps domain and technical experts collaborate to continuously create meaningful software solutions together.
