📣 Talks
+++ Drawing with CSS - the Codetoberfest edition by Eva Lettner, Vienna, Austria +++
CSS is a styling language, right. But did you know that you draw with it? We can use the power of CSS to create amazing stuff, like gingerbread hearts! Or beer!
Let's get creative and use some CSS properties you might not have used before. In this talk you will hear all about gradients, drop shadows, blend modes, clip-paths, and other fun stuff.
Eva is a frontend developer by day and coding 'artist' by night. She loves playing around with CSS animations and runs a JavaScript learning group for women.
When she's not in front of her laptop, she's knitting socks.

+++ Kentan - A Modular Test Data Composer by Gregor Woiwode, Leipzig, Germany +++
Kentan allows you to create, organize and compose test data. Once this is done it simplifies your test arrangements. This talk will introduce you to Kentan’s toolbox to set up and configure test data with ease. You will also hear about the integrated Tooling for Angular projects making you even more productive writing tests.
Gregor is the CTO of co-IT.eu GmbH and loves to build tools that enables developers to be more productive. In his role as Speaker, Trainer and Consultant he teaches techniques to continuously improve the architectural design of Angular applications.
He also enjoys running or trying his hand at hobby cooking.

+++ Here's to Unit Tests! by Markus Ende, Nuremberg, Germany +++
A toast to unit tests. They deserve our love! Did you ever comment out a failing unit test, because it was too difficult to understand and fix? Me neither... 😅
In this talk we’ll dive into what makes a good unit test: what is a unit? When to write or not to write a unit test? How can a team attain the greatest benefit from tests.
Markus is a freelance software developer and trainer, currently doing mainly frontend stuff with Angular. He loves testing all the things and spreading the love for it. In his spare time he enjoys doing sports, acting and other nerd stuff, preferably with his wife and kids.
