Understanding Our Environmental Footprint

Join us on Tuesday, April 6th at 19:00 with Jack Church, a International Volunteer for WWF Switzerland Board member whose given numerous talks on climate change and carbon footprint, as he leads us through how to use the WWF Switzerland Footprint Calculator.

We will address the issue "It’s not me. It’s the companies. What can I do?“ In doing a side by side comparison of a concerned citizen and an average Swiss citizen, we will see both where our choices as individuals make a difference and which systems within Switzerland need changing.

After the talk, There will be time for questions and discussion. This is the 2nd part of a two presentation that is related to our current CO2 campaign on understanding climate change. The first presentation will be on March 30th titled "How does CO2 emissions and global warming affect me in CH?". Please check our Meetup page to RSVP.

Jack has a masters degree in Mechanical Engineering with a background in energy and materials. Before coming to Switzerland he was retrofitting houses to make them more energy efficient and was certified by The PassivHaus Institut (Germany‘s version of Minerie P).
