Fall Charity Event & Holiday Meetup

We will be creating baby blankets and hats for Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep. NILMDTS is an non-profit organization that provides remembrance photography to parents suffering from the loss of a baby. They distribute care packages quarterly and have asked us to help out with providing hand knit baby blankets and hats. You can see the requirements for size, color, material, etc. here:

We will collect all of the finished items in December at our Holiday Meetup and then donate the all the finished items to the organization for distribution in their January packages. I have some yarn left over from the stash exchange that I will be bringing to future meetups, please feel free to grab a ball to start a project with for this good cause.

Baby blankets are small, fast to make, and perfect as a beginner's projects for all you newbies who are looking to learn how to knit or crochet!

This event is free to anyone who brings a baby blanket or hat to our December meetup at Copper Kettle.
