At Her-Tech, we bring together industry experts from various levels to share invaluable insights on breaking biases and promoting equal representation for women in the tech industry.

Her-Tech goes beyond our own organisation as we extend our invitation to external partners, fostering a collective effort to drive positive change in the tech industry. Together, we embrace diversity, exchange knowledge, and cultivate best practices, ultimately championing women's advancement in the tech field.

This time, we will explore the topic of power dynamics in the professional world. We will discuss the essential aspects of power distribution and its impact on various groups of individuals, influencing their career journeys.
What can we do collectively and as individuals to advocate for the power balance? What can we learn from experience with power dynamics in the workplace and use this knowledge to enhance decision-making, leadership skills, and career advancement?

First, we will start with keynote talks from our speakers and continue with panel discussion. Our panellists will share their personal stories and hands-on experience working in male-dominated industries and making a career in leadership.

Dina has been working for AWS for the last year and has a passion for inclusive work-spaces. Her main focus is to maintain and scale a diverse and inclusive team where every member feels valued, respected and welcomed for who they are. She is co-leading an initiative at AWS to elevate female talents by empowering them through sponsorship.

Carolyn Brand
Personal Growth Consultant & Inspirational Speaker
“Empowering Careers in Male-Dominated Environments”

With over three decades of professional experience spanning renowned organizations like Rolls-Royce, as well as SMEs and Start-Ups working in the area of Green Technology and Sustainability. Carolyn will share her insights and strategies for success.

Viktoria Korzhova
Fractional CPO / VP Product @ Product People

Product Manager with Neuroscience research background. Led teams and grew communities, streamlined processes, managed high-impact initiatives. Currently, Viktoria works as VP Product at Product People, a Product Management consultancy, and supports different companies as an interim Product Leader. Having experienced 20+ different tech organizations through this, she strongly believes that diversity of cultures, backgrounds and experiences is a basis for building a strong team.

Cecilia Gutierrez
Junior Web Engineer @ N26

Cecilia Gutierrez is a Uruguayan computer engineer now living in Barcelona. She has been working in N26 as a Junior Web Engineer for a year. She also is part of the Women In Tech group.
