• What is it? - This class is designed to strengthen the whole body with an emphasis on run specific conditioning. Aiming to prevent injury by strengthening those weak muscles and stretching those problem areas. This will be hugely beneficial to our runners all of whom who should do some strength and conditioning work at least once a week. By coming along to class you get to do this under the instruction of an experienced coach and in the company of your friends from running intervals.
• Where is it? - The class takes place in Park Barceloneta. See the map for the location.
• When is it? - Strength and conditioning classes take place on a Monday evening at 7.30pm (Park Barceloneta), Wednesday evening at 7 pm (Park Barceloneta), and Thursday evening at 6pm (Park Barceloneta).
• Who runs it? - The Monday class is lead by Britta. A long term member of PB:Running, Britta is a qualified personal trainer and group fitness instructor.
• How much is it? - €10 a class however you can buy an unlimited class pass which will give you access to all PB:Running classes for the calendar month for €40.
• Anything else? - Before you attend your very first class with me, you will be required to fill out a par-q which you can complete here.

• What is it? - This class is for all levels from novice to advanced runners, where we will train you to run fast.
• Where is it? - We meet at Parc Glories next to the big white circle.
Please look out for me in my blue PB:Running uniform. You can text me and I can send you my location.
• When is it? - Running intervals runs every Tuesday at 07:15am (Barceloneta), Tuesday at 7.30pm (Glories), Wednesday at 8pm, and Thursday evening at 7pm. (both Barceloneta)
• Who runs it? - These classes are led by me! My name is Alan Urquhart and I am from Scotland. I am a Level 4 Advanced Personal Trainer and I have been in the health and fitness industry for 26 years. For 14 years I was a runner, taking part in road, hill, cross country, and track, in distances from 1 mile to marathon. I have been involved in Athletics coaching since I was 17.

• What to bring - It would be advised to bring along a water bottle. Bringing along a digital watch for timing runs and recoveries would be very useful. Wear appropriate clothing and footwear. Clothing layers can be left at the start finish line. I can keep valuables such as keys, wallets etc in my backpack or bike bags.
Marato Per Equips (6 person Team Relay)

Marato Per equips is a fun team relay event that takes place in Cornella de Llobregat, not far from the Espanyol football stadium.
The race distance is a marathon 42.2K split into 6 legs of 7.03K (2 x 3.5K laps).
The Marato Per Equips is one of the highlights of our running calendar, a very unique race, that bonds team members.
Please RSVP to register your interest. Your RSVP does not guarantee your place. Participants will need to pay the 15 euro fee to guarantee their place. Refunds will only be given where a replacement runner can be found meaning any drop outs in the last 1-2 weeks will unlikely lead to a replacement being found.
Each participant receives a bocadilla and drink (soft drink or cerveza) from the organisers after the race.

Hi ladies. Let's hike the Edward Thomas, Spring Creek, and a little multi-purpose trail - approximately 4 miles.
Please bring a water bottle as needed and appropriate shoes. Meet in the Maple Grove Picnic area.
Hike Blendon Woods Metro Park
Hi ladies. We will meet in front of the Nature Center and head to the two Observation decks. We will then hike Hickory Ridge, Ripple Rock, Overlook and Sugarbush trails to get approximately four miles total distance. We will walk approximately a 18 minute mile pace. Please wear appropriate hiking shoes.

Hi ladies. Let's hike the Edward Thomas, Spring Creek, and a little multi-purpose trail - approximately 4 miles so please wear your shoe of choice.
Please bring a water bottle as needed and appropriate shoes. Meet in the Maple Grove Picnic area.
Hike Pickerington Ponds
We'll hike 3.4 miles on the Killdeer and Yellowlegs Trails - both out and back gravel trails. If we want more mileage we can repeat an out and back. Pace of around 3.5 mph, no one left behind and those who want to go faster sure can!
As always optional lunch after.
This is the second Metro Park in the lineup for me - with 21 to go (plus more are being added).

**Over time I'm hoping to organize a hike to all the Franklin County Metro Parks. This is the first one so if you're interested jump in!**
**We'll start with the Canopy Walk, a cool feature of this park. Climb 100 stairs to the top - or take the elevator if stairs aren't your thing. At the top there are a bunch of things to play on - a rope bridge, a fireman pole that we can slide down - and more! About fifteen minutes there and we'll head to the natural trail, Buttonbush, Maple and Beech Trail for 2.2 miles then do a 1.7 mile loop on the paved Greenway Trail. We'll be passing our cars as we transition if you only want to do the first loop, or the second loop. Pace of around 3.5 mph but no one left behind.**

Hike approx 4.0 miles at approx. 18 minute mile pace. Meet in front of the Nature Center.
