Hi - this is Angie from the WordPress Columbus Meetup. This is a super quick note to let you know that I've started another Meetup that you might be interested in - Internet Marketing Meetup Columbus ( Right now, it's scheduled every other week and if there are enough attendees to support that, we'll keep it at that schedule.

So why an Internet Marketing Meetup? Partly because I've noticed that many people who attend the WordPress meetup and WordCamp get the hang of WordPress, and then (logically) end up asking questions that aren't exactly related to WordPress, but more related to how to share their business online - how to increase leads and make sales! Which is GREAT! BUT... it's not exactly the kind of stuff we can cover at the WordPress meetup if we're going to keep this Meetup on track.

A few things you should know - the Internet Marketing Meetup has a cost - $10/meetup, and that's to keep the tire-kickers out (Internet Marketing is not like WordPress. People who come to a WordPress meetup are pretty serious about why they're there. Some who would come to an Internet Marketing meetup just want a quick fix on how to make a million dollars overnight. It's not that easy. Those with a little skin in the game are more willing to stick around and learn. AND, it's to help cover the cost of food and materials. Also, Dave and John aren't hosting this with me, it's just me to start, though I may bring in other hosts later. It's held at Compusuites in Upper Arlington every other Monday at 6:30PM.

You can RSVP for tonight's Meetup here: or read more about WHY you should attend tonight's Meetup on Branding vs. Identity here:

And I PROMISE, CROSS MY HEART, STICK A NEEDLE IN MY EYE, you will NOT hear about this Meetup from me again, because I don't want you to feel like you're getting a cross-promotional salesy pitch from me when you only intended to involve yourself in the WordPress Meetup. BUT, lots of you have asked me if I teach a Meetup like this, and now I do!

Hope to see some of you there tonight!
