October Death Cafe

Details

Members old and new, please join us for our monthly conversation on death (and life).
We’ll be in the meeting room of the Morris Frank library this month, so no snacks this time around.

Tips for parking and finding the meeting room: look out for the Morris Frank library sign off Fondren, and turn into that side of the parking lot. Our room will be through the library entrance doors and all the way to the left, past the smaller glass-walled conference rooms. Any trouble finding us, ask a member of library staff!

—————

Houston’s Death Cafe is part of the larger international social franchise movement of Death Cafes. We welcome all, members old and new.
A Death Cafe is a group directed discussion of death with no agenda, objectives or themes. It is a discussion group rather than a grief support or counselling session.
At a Death Cafe people, often strangers, gather to eat treats and discuss death.
Our objective is 'to increase awareness of death with a view to helping people make the most of their (finite) lives'.
