About us

Deep Talk — Conversation as self-exploration

Ideas start the conversation — experience makes it real and meaningful
Deep Talk is a small, facilitated gathering around a shared theme. Through different rounds of questions, we explore our experiences, beliefs, perspectives and ways of living—and listen to how others experience similar things differently.
You do not need an impressive answer or a finished opinion. Curiosity, honesty and a willingness to reflect are enough.

Leaving the world behind, for a while
We step away from the noise of everyday life and come to the table as ourselves. The world is still part of our conversation, but we explore it through our own experience—what we notice, how we see things and how we participate in what happens.
Sometimes we slow down to notice what is happening in the body, alongside our thoughts. Short, optional grounding or movement exercises offer another way to explore the topic.

Who is this for?
People who are curious about themselves and willing to look in the mirror—not only at the world outside. We welcome a willingness to have our views challenged and consider different perspectives, with room to disagree.
If your main aim is to win an argument or have your position confirmed, this format is not the right fit.

How we show up matters
The quality of this space depends on what each of us brings to it. We ask participants to:

  • Speak from their own experience and share speaking time.
  • Listen with curiosity, including when perspectives differ.
  • Let others explore their experience without offering unsolicited advice or drawing conclusions for them.
  • Keep what others share within the group.
  • Arrive on time so we can begin together.

Please honour your reservation. Register when you intend to attend, and cancel as soon as you know you cannot come—preferably at least 24 hours beforehand. This helps us plan for the group size and makes space for others. If plans change unexpectedly, please still cancel or let the organiser know.
Repeatedly registering without attending or cancelling may lead to removal from the group.
