The Responsible AI Meetup

After some great talks and speakers during Deeploy’s Responsible AI event, we are ready to take it to the next level: Deeploy’s Responsible AI hackathon.

During this hackathon, you will get your hands dirty by experimenting with state-of-the-art explainability techniques. Together with your group and the help of Deeploy experts, you will leverage Deeploy’s cloud platform and Huggingface spaces to tackle one of these two challenges:

1. Deeploy is the platform for explainability and transparency in AI. Let’s showcase this by leveraging the features that the platform has to offer. Create a pipeline POC for a realistic use case where you deploy a model, add explainability, create a human feedback loop and leverage the monitoring capabilities. Use your creativity to make it appealing and interpretable.
2. LLMs are hot! However, can they be trusted? We have a small banking LLM example. Utilize the tools available at Deeploy and your own to make this LMM explainable, trustable, and safer.

The hackathon will take place on the 23rd of May at the Deeploy office. It starts at 14:00 (walk-in possible from 13:45) and is expected to end around 20:00.

There will be pizza and of course some time for drinks at the end. Make sure to bring your A-game because there will be prizes to win!

For this hackathon, we have limited office space, so be sure to secure your spot! You do not need to register as part of a team for this hackathon, they can still be formed at the start of the event.

Also, please keep in mind that some coding and/or machine-learning experience is required for this hackathon.

AI holds immense potential to transform the Dutch health insurance industry. It can improve operational efficiency, optimize dynamic premium calculations, enhance customer experiences, and mitigate risks, fostering better health outcomes for policyholders.

However, its use demands meticulous attention to ethical considerations, transparency, fairness, protection of individual privacy rights, and, most urgently, the growing challenge of complying with new regulations, such as the EU AI Act.

This event serves as a platform to explore these issues, exchange insights, and discuss how we can create AI-driven innovations in health insurance that are not only effective but also ethical and socially responsible.
