What we’re about
Our goal at Tubten Kunga Center (“TKC”) is to help students achieve their maximum potential for wisdom, happiness, and compassion.
At TKC, you will find students from all walks of life. Most people who attend classes and events at our center are not Buddhists, but are attracted to Buddhism’s message of peace, compassion, and wisdom. Our students are young and old, married and single, and from all religious and ethnic backgrounds. We provide an engaging selection of classes to suit all levels of interest and effort. We also attempt to foster a community atmosphere, where people can come when they need support during difficult times. We invite you to become a part of our Dharma family, or just drop in as you please!
Please visit our website for more details about our Center as well as our calendar of events.
You can also give as a call at (954) 421-6224. Our address is 201 SE 15th Terrace Suite 207, Deerfield Beach, FL 33441.
(The center is located in the Cove Shopping center, just West of the Intracoastal bridge on Hillsboro Blvd (about 1/4mile East of US1 or Federal Highway) in Deerfield Beach. The center is on the far West side of the plaza (next to a consignment shop and Mexican restaurant) and on the second floor. It is only a few stores in from Hillsboro Blvd on the West side of the plaza. You will see our sign on the double glass door and on the second floor windows there.
We are on the second floor, go up the stairs and make your second left. Help yourself to tea and refreshments if you come early, and don't forget to introduce yourself and sign in. Our committee members will be there to greet you at the desk.)
