Talk Synopsis:
As artificial intelligence becomes increasingly embedded in enterprise workflows, it introduces not just opportunity—but new and evolving attack surfaces. As AI becomes part of our everyday tools and workflows, it also opens the door to new security challenges. In this session, Cid Dominique will break down the real risks that come with using and deploying AI, like prompt attacks, data leaks, and system manipulation.

Whether you're in tech, business, or just curious about AI, you’ll leave with a better understanding of how these systems can be exploited—and what we can do to protect them. No deep technical knowledge required—just an interest in staying secure in a smarter world.

Cid Dominique is a seasoned IT leader and cybersecurity professional who's worked with global organizations and small startups. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Corporate IT at NYSHEX, Cid oversees global IT operations, cybersecurity, and compliance, where he has successfully implemented SOC 2 controls and manages vulnerabilities across IT Estates.

Cid is passionate about emerging technologies and has been at the forefront of exploring how AI can enhance IT operations, reduce risk, and empower teams. In his talk, Cid will unpack real-world applications of AI in cybersecurity, discuss key challenges and adoption, and share actionable insights for professionals navigating the evolving AI landscape.
