**Welcome to the Delaware Association for Humanism (DAH)!**

We’re glad you found us. DAH is a community grounded in secular humanist values, reason, compassion, and a commitment to making the world a better place. Under new leadership, we’re expanding our mission to connect more deeply with progressive causes and local activism.

Our regular activities include:

* **Fourth Friday Debate Nights** – Lighthearted but thoughtful debates on fun and thought-provoking topics.
* **Drink Chat & Snack Night** – A casual hangout at Autumn Arch Beer Project where members bring snacks and connect over conversation.
* **Volunteer & Mutual Aid Projects** We're working to increase our involvement with organizations like the Food Bank of Delaware and are exploring collaborations with the Buy Nothing community and mutual aid efforts.
* **Community-Building Events** New ideas are always welcome! We hope to offer more gatherings focused on service, education, and solidarity with like-minded groups.

We aim to partner with groups like the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), Delaware Atheists Meetup, the Freethought Society, and other secular and left-aligned organizations to strengthen our collective impact.

We welcome your voice, your ideas, and your presence. All of our events are free to attend, and we encourage you to suggest new Meetup ideas or causes to support.

We’re proud to be a chapter of both the **American Humanist Association (AHA)** and the **Council for Secular Humanism**. Membership dues are \$25/year for AHA members and \$35/year for non-members—supporting our work and helping us grow.
