.For those of you who don’t know about it, Colorado Anime Fest is the 2nd biggest anime convention of all of Colorado! I would even argue that it is more at a 1A and 1B status with the Nan Desu Kan convention in my opinion.
Anywhoo, this convention has weebs. LOTS of them lol. Plus the convention has a VAST majority of fun panels and activities for the entire 3 day weekend (merchandise market, artist alley, audience participation panels, celebrity panels, tabletop, cosplay contest, Rave, charity auction, lip syncing, karaoke, eating at nearby DTC restaurants and much MUCH MORE). My minor description just now cannot do justice about what this convention has to offer. MEETING UPAs for the Meetup group, I’m not actually planning to make any official gathering. Making this event page is more of a way to let most of you know about the existence of this con and to plan ahead accordingly.
HOWEVER, this doesn’t mean any unofficial gathering isn’t welcome! In fact it’s quite the opposite, please hangout with one another! Here are a few suggestions and avenues of communication for club members to keep in touch and maybe Meetup in an unofficial capacity throughout con weekend:

- The other Denver based anime meetup group, Anime 20’s and 30’s, will have a more formal gathering of club members within the convention, as well as a meet and greet and group picture. There’s a lot of overlap of members between our club and them and it’s also a great way to make even more friends for any new attendees. NOTE: They have their own process of joining their club. So I recommend joining a few days ahead of the convention.
