With all of these nerdy events at places like cons and arcades left and right, I think there should be more balance brought to the force. Luckily, we are approaching September, which means yet another one of Abel’s pride and joy annual events: THE SPORTS FESTIVAL ARC!!!!!!!!

For new people who are unfamiliar, the Sports Festival Arc is a park session with a variety of sports for people to play.. We are going on 4 years now IT IS FUN, CHILL, AND NOT COMPETITIVE, SO NO WORRIES THERE

ANOTHER NOTE: If you don't want to play, you can still have fun enjoying a nice day at the park with everyone else. People will sign a sheet to bring snacks and drinks too, for everyone to enjoy

Additionally, we went to a restaurant last year to regain the calories we burnt and It was a lot of fun! I think I’ll do the same thing this year as well depending on interest from everyone.

So let the (weeb) games begin!

To cap off the “overhosting month because Abel's schedule was wonky in September extravaganza”, we will run things back to a fan favorite venue: Channel 3 Retro Gaming Center!!!!

For those who don't know, they have traditional arcade games AND they have several monitors where you can rent out console games from ALL systems new or old (NES, SNES, PS1, Switch, PS5, X-Box, etc).

It's also really cheap too! $15 buy in and you have unlimited use of all of the machines and console games ALL DAY! The only games that you have to pay consistent quarters for are the pinball machines fyi.

We can also rent a table for $12 an hour to eat our outside food if we want to! So if anyone is hungry and wants to take their restaurant food to go and join us later, there should be space for you to eat it. NOTE: Unfortunately, they won’t allow outside drinks though (even non alcoholic ones), but they do serve their own drinks though!

NOTE: I want to meet around 15 minutes beforehand to chat as well as new member introductions.

NOTE 2: This is going to be a cross event with BOTH the Anime 20's 30's Meetup Group and the Kdrama & Shojo Anime Club
