In his presentation, "The IT Guy Is Dead! Long Live the IT Guy!," Tim Singleton, founder of Strive Technology Consulting, will review how dramatically business IT needs have changed over the past 20 years, and what businesses should expect from their IT partner today.

Description:
Computers don’t crash anymore. You can order all the equipment you want on Amazon. Google handles your email and file sharing. And businesses have an embarrassment of riches when it comes to apps, cloud services, AI tools, and technology they can buy and deploy themselves.

Who needs an IT guy anymore? NO ONE!

But that abundance has created a different problem: too many options on the marketplace means you don’t know what will work, what is just hype, how to ensure they integrate with everything else you have, and whether it will grow with your business or die off.

Add cybercrime targeting small businesses and AI moving faster than anyone can keep up with, and suddenly the question looks very different.

Who needs an IT guy anymore? EVERYONE! And perhaps more than ever.
