Our first presenter is Michele Lewis, Founder of Downstream Direction.
She will present: "Downstream Direction: Publishing and Technology for Human Flourishing"
Description:
What happens when we design tools not just to help people do more, but to help them live and work with greater clarity, connection, resilience, and capacity?
Downstream Direction is a new publishing and technology company built around a simple belief: what we carry ripples outward into our relationships, families, workplaces, communities, and the wider world.
In a time when many people are carrying stress, overwhelm, uncertainty, disconnection, and concerns that can feel beyond their control, Downstream Direction helps people find more breathing room, awareness, connection, and well-being.
In this presentation, Michele Lewis will introduce Downstream Direction’s two current pathways: Downstream Reflections, a monthly physical-and-digital experience for personal flourishing, and Upfielder, an AI-first professional companion designed to strengthen relationships, follow-through, and day-to-day business effectiveness.
Though the offerings are very different, they share a common purpose: to help lift, ease, or improve what is within our reach — and support the ripple effects that healthier, more connected people can create at home, at work, and beyond.
Bio
Michele Lewis is the founder of Downstream Direction, a publishing and technology company focused on human flourishing.
A published author and former high school English teacher, Michele has spent much of her career helping people think more deeply, communicate more clearly, and recognize the meaning beneath the surface.
Her professional background also includes service as an Army National Guard officer, more than a decade in construction sales and senior project management, digital marketing, and entrepreneurship.
That unusually varied path has shaped her interest in the intersection of human development, relationships, business, creativity, and technology — and in how the environments we create can either add to people’s burden or help lighten it.
Today, Michele is developing two primary expressions of Downstream Direction: Downstream Reflections, a monthly invitation to pause, reflect, and reconnect with what matters most, and Upfielder, an AI-powered professional relationship and business companion for people whose success depends on relationships, referrals, and strong follow-through.
Our second presenter is Kendra Hukari, a Denver-Based Financial Advisor with Axiom Wealth Alliance.
Her presentation title is "Taking Your Earned Income Through The Four Boxes Exercise."
Description:
My last presentation was the Four Boxes framework, and this time we’re putting it to work.
We will put a business owner’s dollar through the framework to see the different tax environments at work in real time, and how this exercise can influence decision making when it comes to saving, spending and investing money.
Bio
With a background in personal finance as a Mortgage Lender and a degree in Creative Writing and Philosophy, Kendra is well-rounded in building connections and relationships around people's most sensitive subject, their money.
She is a thoughtful communicator and exceptional at helping people and businesses identify holes in their current financial strategies and plugging them with custom-tailored solutions.
Although finance is her business, she is also passionate about education and people: their stories, their spirit, and working with them to live a life of authenticity and abundance, not just financially but holistically.
Guests are always welcome! No cost to attend our engaging meetings. However, we do ask that you support our host location by purchasing the lunch of your choice.
