Glaze Your Own Ceramic Pipe — Hands-On Ceramics Class
Details
Come make something a little strange and entirely your own. In this 2-hour hands-on session, you'll glaze and decorate a hand-built, pre-made clay pipe — no wheel, no prior experience, just color, texture, and your own hands making the call.
You'll layer glaze, sculpt small clay accents, and shape a piece that's genuinely one-of-one. Once it's fired (twice!), we'll text or email you when it's ready to pick up at the Denver Art Society on Santa Fe Drive.
No experience needed. We'll walk you through everything.

How It Works
- Before class — Your blank pipe is hand-built and ready to go.
- Class day (3 hours) — Glaze and decorate it however you like.
- First firing — Into the kiln it goes.
- Week 2 — Two coats of clear glaze for shine and waterproofing.
- Second firing — Back in the kiln for the final round.
- Week 4 — Pick up your finished piece at the Denver Art Society.
