Tony Howard: Saturn-Neptune Aspects in the Birth Chart

Details

For this meeting, we are excited to announce that we will be hosting a special guest lecture on Saturn-Neptune aspects in the birth chart by astrologer Tony Howard, who is based in Portland, Oregon. Please read below for the lecture description and Tony's bio.

Lecture:

Join Tony Howard for a discussion of Saturn and Neptune aspects in the birth chart. Using example charts for several prominent current and historical figures, we’ll expand our understanding of the multiple ways Saturn and Neptune can interact beyond the confines of standard astrological cookbook definitions.

Tony will outline each planet’s archetypal range and then explore the various ways Saturn and Neptune influence each other. We limit our thinking when we unconsciously give precedence to one archetype when describing a particular combination. So we’ll use this time to break out of the box, finding cases of Saturn being dominant, Neptune being dominant, and of both archetypes merging to create an entirely unique expression.

We’ll also take this opportunity to remember that even so-called “negative” planetary aspects can play out in multiple ways in one’s life, many of them constructive and even beneficial.

Includes the charts of Oscar Wilde, Marilyn Monroe, Tom Cruise, Jon Stewart, FDR, John Coltrane, Marvin Gaye, Bernie Sanders and more.

The Mercury Cafe serves brunch earlier in the day, so if anyone wants to come by early, there may be other astrologers to meet and socialize with.

Lecture Fee

The fee for attending the lecture is $10.

Parking

If you can find a spot to park on the street then it is free, although there is a two hour limit on some spots. We recommend using the parking lot right across from the Mercury Cafe on the other side of California Street, which only charges $2 for parking on weekends.

We look forward to seeing everyone at the Denver Astrology Group meeting on Saturday, June 11th!
