Chiron: Beyond the Wound ⚕️⭐️

Hello fellow astrology enthusiasts!

For this month’s Denver Astrology Meetup, we’ll be deep diving into Chiron, the strange and fascinating planetoid orbiting between Saturn and Uranus.

Often reduced to the “wounded healer,” Chiron’s myth runs far deeper, and darker, than most modern takes suggest. We’ll examine the traditional Greek sources that describe Chiron’s unusual birth, hybrid form, and tragic immortality, then explore how his discovery in 1977 reshaped modern astrological thought.

Together, we’ll track Chiron’s influence through mundane transits and historical events, discuss whether he truly deserves the healer title, and reconsider what his “mutation” actually represents for collective and personal astrology.

Whether you’re a traditionalist, modern astrologer, or just a mythology nerd, this talk will give you a fresh (and possibly unsettling) perspective on one of astrology’s most misunderstood bodies.

This session will be led by Rosalie (@AstroRosalie) and Zane (@NevilleAstrology).

Please note: There is a sliding scale entry fee of $10–$45 per person, payable by cash, PayPal, or Venmo. We use a sliding scale to help make this event accessible to people of varying economic means. We kindly ask that you contribute the highest amount within that range that you can comfortably afford.

The cafe will be open, so feel free to come early or stay after to mingle and enjoy some snacks! Or stay late for additional events! There’s limited street parking is available, as well as a paid lot across the street.
