Dungeons & Dragons One Shots Meetup - Denver!

New D&D group welcoming all, beginner and intermediate friendly!
Meetup starters are LGBTQ and open to all kinds of people; we want to create a safe place for everyone to enjoy playing these games we love.

This group currently focuses on One Shots (singular self contained stories) to help people learn to play the game regardless of skill or experience, and to meet other wonderful players to start new friendships and even your own campaigns! If you're joining us, here are some things to keep in mind about what we do and how we operate.

♤ LEVEL 3 CHARACTERS: We play level 3 characters and only level 3. While we will be happy to help you outside of the game, helping you level up an unprepared character can eat into an hour of other players game time, so please bring a level 3, or be prepared to use one of our premade ones.
We will have printed pre-made level 3 characters if anyone needs them, and a DNDbeyond campaign with digital copies! DNDBeyond .com is a good online tool to create and manage characters, as well as make printable custom character sheets to bring to D&D. (The website is much better than the app)

♡ While we are beginner friendly, we always recommend checking out a few online videos on how to play DND, or fun online campaigns that you can watch to get a gist of the mechanics and roleplay system. We can not be a full training session, but we will help you in any way we can! This is a team building game for everyone to interact with each other and explore their creativity and improve, we highly encourage you to interact with other players and roleplay the story out!

☆ Targeted to 18+ audience: This group found its footing in the kink community, please be open minded, positive, and queer friendly! Please, no children under 17, our themes can sometimes be more suggestive.

$ Support the business location that we will be playing at, so that they welcome us to come back! We currently meet at Punchbowl Social, and to encourage a positive relationship we ask that you please purchase two items per person, and tip the staff 20% or more.

♢ RSVP accurately! We're growing fast and want to make sure folks who can attend get the opportunity. If you're unsure whether or not you can make it please waitlist or mark the meet up as interested.

• If you can no longer attend after making an RSVP please cancel ASAP so others on the waitlist can join in time!

◇ Any discrimination, fighting, harassing, or at all unwanted behavior will not be tolerated. Purposefully disrespecting people's identity, culture, or orientation will result in an immediate ban from future sessions. Please communicate with either of the Meetup Hosts if you ever experience unwelcoming behavior.

♡ With that in mind, always make sure to ask for pronouns or other personal affectations. Building community is all about communication and respect.

¤ Please drink responsibly; no one likes playing with intoxicated players. It can ruin the experience for the whole table, thank you!
