Welcome BookLovers!
The Denver-Berkeley Book Club has an in-person and an online meeting each month, so you can choose which format works for you.
We meet in-person on the fourth Wednesday and online on the following Thursday of each month. We generally use the publisher-provided Reading Group questions as a starting point and end up in an interesting and free-ranging discussion about our chosen book.
If you see a book that interests you please join us. Everyone is welcome. It's not necessary to finish (or start) the book, but there will be spoilers! We read a variety of fiction and non-fiction, generally focusing on one genre every few months. For the beginning of 2023 we are reading Classics.
You can find a list of books that we have read here: Denver-Berkeley Book Club Read List. We also have a Goodreads group at Denver-Berkeley Book Club that lists all the books we've read as well as all the books suggested by the group to read.
Starting Jan 2022, we are collecting $4.00 annual dues from everyone, after a 3 month introductory period. This is to offset the Meetup fees. Please contact me if you have any questions or if you would like the annual dues waived, no questions asked.
