Denver Bicycle Club Road Ride

Depart: SloHi Bike Co City Park on Colfax Ave @ 8:30AM sharp. Arrive early for a pre-ride coffee at Hooked on Colfax next door.

There will be two route options: one flat 40 mile route excellent for intermediate and casual riders, and a more difficult, 80 mile climbing route for advanced riders.

If the sun is shining we will be calling in for a post ride refresher to two on the patio at Hogshead Brewery, next door to SloHi Bike and Coffee in the Highlands.

The short route is a mixture of roads and bike paths, and is approximately 40 miles. Typical pace is 14-18 mph (average). Please communicate with your ride leader if you need to adjust the pace or turn back early.
The climbing route has an extended climb up Deer Creek and High Grade and some steep and fast descents. Only recommended for advanced riders.

According to group interest, we may stop for water refill, a snack or even a coffee.

Helmets required. You will not be permitted to ride without a helmet. Bring tools to fix a flat.
