49th annual Marshall Mesa MTB Adventure May 26

Details
Well, this may not be the 49th, but our favorite ride is a few decades going. More than 4+9=13 years going. Or could be 58th, as 5+8=13 too. Plus, M is 13th in our alphabet. Anyhow, join tribe members at the trail head, pick your favored clan, then see riders re-group for a Southern Sun powwow gathering.
The usual intermediate route is following Marshall Mesa east to Community Ditch, back west along ditch, cross the bridge, then south for the Marshall Mesa climb. Cross Hwy 93 at the southwest corner of the Greenbelt area, use the stoplight, then go southwest to Doudy Draw. Explore the Vista trails before descending the rocky gulch dropping into Spring Brook loop. Ride the loop counter-clockwise while thinking about your summer adventures. Continue by dropping north in the Draw, return via the Community Ditch trail and the Hwy 93 underpass. Others can do variations on this route, as they prefer.
Afterward, compare notes at Southern Sun Brewpub, about 3 miles north of the trailhead, in the Table Mesa Shopping Center. Order a sandwich and get a refreshing drink. This year a conversation topic will be why 1+1 these days now adds to 3? Or why would anyone think the arbitrary selection of numbers adding to 13, and simply coincidence with M, actually has any special hidden meaning? Or, would have calling it the 112th been a more meaningful number?
Please keenly NOTE: Southern Sun is CASH only!
