To get started with the check-in think about what you feel comfortable sharing.
Here are some ideas:

  • Your preferred name and pronouns.
  • The name of the person you are grieving.
  • How long ago the loss was for you.
  • What is working for you this week to cope with your loss.
  • What you are challenged by this week.

Please be gentle with yourself and others, especially when dealing with specific details that you or someone else might find disturbing.
