Jam session

As of this writing, our instrumentation looks like 3 violins, 2 violas, 1 cello, and 1 piano.

PROPOSED REPETOIRE:

• VAUGHAN-WILLIAMS #4 - #6 Studies in English Folk-Song (Marshall to supply sheet music)

• DVORAK String Quartet No. 11 in C Major, Op. 61

• ROUSSEL String Quartet in D Major, Op. 45 (mvmt 1 & 4)

• FARRENC Piano Quintet No.2, Op.31 (scored for piano, vn, va, cello and bass- however we might just have 1 cello this week)

Sheet music for the pieces listed above will be provided for you at the Jam Session.

Music stands will be at the venue; some attendees bring stand lights 💡 as the rehearsal spaces are not always well-lit.

Feel free to bring any other pieces you'd like to try, or list them in the comment section below if you'd like me to print them beforehand.

COST:
Renting the large studio for 2 hours costs $66. Contributions can be made to Maggie at the event. (Venmo, Zelle, and cash accepted.) Thank you for keeping this going!

PARKING:
There is usually street parking available within two or three blocks.
