Descriptions from the Sie: Brazil faces the tightening grip of a military dictatorship. Eunice Paiva, a mother of five children is forced to reinvent herself after her family suffers a violent and arbitrary act by the government.

The film is based on Marcelo Rubens Paiva's biographical book and tells the true story that helped reconstruct an important part of Brazil’s hidden history.

The movie starts at 11:45 and I'll be in the lobby at 11:30 holding a small Denver Cinema Club sign.

After the movie we will walk a few blocks to Bruz for delicious Belgian beer/rootbeer for discussion. Note: Bruz has light snacks (toasted pizza, tinned fish, hot pretzels)
