New Wave is the opening film of the 2025 Colorado Dragon Boat Film Festival. It is preceded by a reception in the theater lounge and followed by a Q&A with the director, Elizabeth Ai. Join us!

Tickets are $30 for Denver Film members and $40 for non-members, plus processing fees. Click here to read a description of the event, watch the trailer, and buy your ticket. I strongly recommend buying your ticket well in advance--like, now!--because I'm guessing the event will sell out.

The reception starts at 6:00 in the theater lounge. I will be there by 5:45; look for a small Denver Cinema Club sign. At around 6:45 we'll go in for the 7:00 screening.

If there is interest, after the Q&A we can walk somewhere nearby, probably Bruz Off Fax, for a nightcap. Look for me again in the lobby if you would like to join in.

For those driving, there is a free parking garage behind the theater, accessible from the alley.
