Please join me to see Stanley Kubrick's The Killing starring Sterling Hayden, Coleen Gray and many others. This film is part of The Sie's "Thick as Thieves" series.
Synopsis from the Sie:
Career criminal Johnny Clay recruits a sharpshooter, a crooked police officer, a bartender and a betting teller named George, among others, for one last job before he goes straight and gets married. But when George tells his restless wife about the scheme to steal millions from the racetrack where he works, she hatches a plot of her own.
The show starts at 7:00 and I will be in the lobby at 6:45 holding a small Denver Cinema Club sign.
After the film for those that are interested, we will walk down to Bruz Off Fax for discussion and delicious beer/root beer/light munchies (chips, popcorn, warm pretzels).
Note: Tickets are purchased on your own either online or at the box office. You might want to consider purchasing ahead of time, a few films we have attended recently have been sell outs.

* For those that have read this far, this film holds a special place in my heart because it was one of my Dad's favorites! He died in 2020 and is deeply missed.
