James Woods jump scare aside, Videodrome is one of David Cronenberg's best films. Certainly, it's one of his most remembered works because it's still relevant to today.

The film was thinking about our relationship to technology and specifically our consumption of media through sex and violence almost so rigorously that it kinda shakes you to the core in seeing how much they got it right. The effects are cheesy but it's always a treat to see a well-done and thought provoking body horror.

Synopsis: A programmer at a Toronto TV station that specializes in adult entertainment searches for the producers of a dangerous and bizarre broadcast.
