JIMPA - Cinema Q - at the SIE

Please join me to watch JIMPA, this years selection for the closing film at Cinema Q.

Hannah (Olivia Colman) takes her teenager Frances to visit their gay grandfather Jim (lovingly known as Jimpa) in Amsterdam. But Frances’ desire to stay with Jimpa (John Lithgow) for a year abroad means Hannah is forced to re-consider her beliefs about parenting and finally confront old stories about the past.

We'll meet in the lobby at 4:45 for the 5pm showing. I'll be carrying a Denver Cinema Club sign.

I'd suggest buying your ticket online for the film at the Denver Film SIE site, since this is likely to be a popular showing.

After the film, we'll meet again in the lobby, and walk to Bruz, just down Colfax a couple blocks. Bruz has a nice selection of beers to chose from, and also root beer and light food fare. We can discuss the movie on the patio outdoor, weather permitting.

The SIE has parking behind and above the theater, just off the alleyway.
