"There Will Be Blood" @The Mayan for Filmmaker Focus

Despite watching this film many times, albeit on smaller screens, I'm one of the 12 people left in the world who remain unconvinced that this is a top 5 film of the 21st century. Let alone top 10. Or even top 30! Don't get me wrong, it's a great film, but I know the 21st Century so far hasn't been that bereft of amazing masterpieces that we've resorted to saving a slot for PTA simply because we haven't seen enough films!

Half-joking aside, I think I need to experience this film on the big screen and specifically at The Mayan where the beautiful main floor screening room to convince myself that this is an outright masterpiece. Won't you join me in this possibly futile quest?
