Halving the Bones - Woodbury Branch Library - Sat, Sept 13 - 12:45 PM - Free!

Details

Join DCC and the Woodbury Film Club for a free screening of Halving the Bones, a documentary by director Ruth Ozeki Lounsbury. The film is part of Denver Public Library's One Book One Denver program. One Book One Denver is a citywide reading initiative where all Denverites are encouraged to read the same title, Stay True by Hua Hsu, and attend events related to the book's themes of friendship, identity, and grief. (You don't have to read the book before watching the movie, however.)

  • Read the library's description of the film screening here.
  • See its IMDB page here.

The group will meet at 12:45 for the 1:00 screening in the library's basement community room. One of the librarians will introduce the film and lead a discussion afterward. The library will provide light snacks for the screening.

If there is interest, after the discussion we can walk down to Adobo for snacks, drinks, and more conversation.

If you are new to the club, please read our Civil Citizens Guide before RSVPing.

See you at the Woodbury!
