Diane Warren: Relentless at the Denver Jewish Film Festival
Details
Diane Warren fans and Oscar-nominee completionists, join me for a screening of Diane Warren: Relentless! Warren’s “Dear Me,” a song from the documentary, is one of the five nominees for Best Song at this year’s Academy Awards.
- Here is the trailer for the film
- And here is its page on Rotten Tomatoes
The documentary is part of the Denver Jewish Film Festival and is showing at the Denver Jewish Community Center. Tickets are $18, or $15 for seniors. I recommend purchasing your ticket in advance. I’ll be in row BB, seat 221, in the mezzanine.
The film has a bit of personal significance for me: it was directed by Bess Kargman, a friend I met on a Habitat for Humanity trip in 2002. Though we haven’t really kept up since then, I’m looking forward to seeing Bess’s latest work.
We'll meet in the lobby at 3:45 for the 4:00 show. I'll be holding a Denver Cinema Club sign. After the screening, we’ll head over to Bull & Bush to have dinner and chat about the film. If you don't plan to go to the restaurant, please let me know so I can adjust our reservation.
See you at the JCC!
