Queen Kelly is the closing film of this year's Denver Silent Film Festival. This is Denver Film's brief description: "A convent girl (Gloria Swanson) is abducted and seduced by a prince before being sent off to a brothel in East Africa." Join us!

Festival screenings often sell out, so I recommend ordering your ticket in advance, here. Tickets are $13 for Denver Film members and $16 for non-members.

We'll meet in the theater lounge at 5:30 for the 6:00 screening. If I can't get a table, I'll try to hang out near the soda machine. I'll wear my snazzy black Denver Cinema Club sweatshirt, like this one. We'll go in and take our seats around 5:45.

After the screening we'll gather again in the lounge, then walk over to Bruz Off Fax to chat about the film. Bruz has tasty Belgian beers, wine, root beer, and various snacks available.

For those driving, there is a free parking garage behind the theater, accessible from the alley.

If you are new to the club, please read our Civil Citizens Guide before RSVPing.

See you at the Sie!
