Presentation topic: A Pentester's Guide to API Security

Cloud technologies have changed the way web applications are built and has contributed to the proliferation of microservices and APIs. Join us for a discussion on securing those APIs, born from observations made while testing them in the wild.

Discussion will include how traditional web application security controls do and don't apply to API heavy architectures and point out some places where they are often forgotten. There will be some discussion of high-level design decisions, specific implementation recommendations, and some really juicy stories of "what not to do."
