Building Blockchain Applications with FlureeDB

Details

Blockchain is the famous new emerging technology -- and its use cases span far and wide. In this discussion, Brian Platz of FlureeDB will discuss blockchain from a developer's perspective, how it might fit into application architecture, and how its immutable nature helps cut dev time and cost. He will also present FlureeDB, a new tool in beta for building out blockchain applications:

FlureeDB is first and foremost a modern database with features like ACID compliance, graph-style query, and unlimited partitioning -- but is also built around a blockchain core. Using blockchain technology, each transaction within FlureeDB is time stamped and cryptographically secured as part of a continuous, chronological update to a digital ledger. The ledger may be privately held, shared amongst a consortium of entities, or publicly available.
