What we’re about
The Mile Hi Optimist Club is a non-profit service volunteer organization chartered 1916, before Optimist International. We are a small group of dedicated volunteers looking to support our metro Denver communities and beyond through youth empowerment and personal projects like, GAIL’s DIY Journals, Junior Optimist International Clubs, scholarship contest and fundraising with and for other non-profits like Dreams in a Bag. If you want to make a difference in your community, are optimistic or needing more optimism in your life, come check us out! Every second Tuesday of the month at 5:30pm at The Monkey Barrel in North Denver. Kids welcome and dog friendly. All are welcome to check us out and share their ideas, thoughts and community needs. Membership dues for the first year are $30 and $100 yearly after the first year. Passing a Background check is required. Dues support our projects and go towards insurance.
