Hello Denver Data Dudes and Dudettes,

For our April event, we have some special programming lined up. The agenda and venue details are a little different than usual but it promises to be an entertaining night!

  1. Event Overview
  • The name of this event 'Simplifying Nature with Origami and AI' refers to the fact that we're going to have 2 demos, and this is the first-ever D^4 Meetup where we're doing that.
  • **NEW VENUE** ๐Ÿ‘€ To have a space for the presentations, we are holding our event at Code Talent in RiNo
  • We're also cross-promoting this event across other groups in the Denver/Boulder area with a science, tech, data, analytics, product, and climate focus, so it's going to be an eclectic crowd.
  1. Agenda
  • 5:30 - 6:30: guests arrive, chat and mingle
  • 6:30 - 7:15: Demo's and QA
  • Presenter #1: Alexander Liss & Rachael Roland, "Using Generative AI to Overcome Procrastination and Motivate Action on Climate Change"
  • Presenter #2: Mark Neyrinck, "Using Origami for Tactile Knowledge of Galaxy Formation"
  • Both demos will have a hands-on component to allow audience participation
  • 7:15 - 8:00: Networking and Event wrap-up

Venue Details
