When Shit Goes Sideways with Anthony Franco
Details
You may remember the moment when Anthony Franco, the founder of MC Squares pitched his business on TV’s Shark Tank. It was one hell of a show!
His segment included: dumping thousands of sticky notes on the heads of The Sharks, admitting he was disorganized on national TV, scaring the hell out of Barbra Corcoran, and one amazing coat. In the end he walked away with a deal from Mr. Wonderful (Kevin O’Leary) worth $300,000!
You could feel Anthony’s relief when, at the end of his segment, he said, “I’m super grateful for being part of the show. It’s every entrepreneur's dream!”
It was a happy ending. Fade to black.
But this, of course, was not the end of the story. What happens after the cameras stop rolling? What happens on the other side of a happy ending?
We’ll talk about startup life, being on the bleeding edge of 3D printing, turning sketches into reality, and what happens when shit turns sideways.
