Creative Coding Show & Tell

Details
We’re throwing another show and tell! Come share what you’re working and see what everyone else is working on. We’ll have a TV set up and all you need to do is bring your laptop. Any work at any stage of progress in encouraged. The goal is to have a casual opportunity to talk to each other about creative projects we’ve been working on.
Presentations will happen in two phases:
- To warm up, we’ll give people the chance to do impromptu/casual presentations. Any attendee can present something.
- Then, we’ll move on to presentations people have prepared in advance. (We’re still looking for more presenters✨ so DM me if you’re interested). Each presentation will ideally be 7 minutes or shorter. Then presenters can have a few more minutes to take questions.
- As of July 31st, we have 3 presenters lined up.
If you don’t feel like presenting, that’s totally fine. Come and enjoy the show!
Rough Schedule
- 1:30 The room becomes available. Presenters can show up early.
- 1:45 Doors open. Come and hang out.
- 2:15 The show starts. Casual presentations begin.
- 2:45 Prepared presentations begin.
- 4:00 The event ends.
- 4:15 The library kicks us out of the room.
- Join for us for drinks! We went to Mockery at the last event, so we'll probably go to Great Divide down the street for this one
What to bring
Attendees: You don't have to bring anything
Notes for Presenters (Second half of the show)
- Prepare a 2–7 minute presentation about something you’ve made or are currently making.
- Bring your laptop, charger, and any adapters you might need to connect to the projector via HDMI. We’ll have a usb-c to HDMI adapter.
- Showing up before doors to do a tech check would be a good idea.
- If you’re willing to share your presentation with the crowd after the event, please also provide a PDF or link to the file, and send any relevant links to Norton for him to include in the post-show notes.
- AI stuff is off-topic.
- NFTs are off-topic.
