Casual Creative Coding Demo Day No. 12

Details
Demo days are where people share creative coding projects at any state of progress—or just watch people give demos. They're relaxed events where people can get to know each other (and their projects).
We'll gather around a TV and everyone that wants to share a project'll get a few minutes, after which they can take questions. After everyone's shared we'll switch to a more freeform hang.
You don't need to show anything to attend.
Light snacks and refreshments will be provided
See you soon!
Rough timeline
- Doors open at 1:30
- Demos start at 2:00
- Demoers get ~7 minutes, and a couple minutes if they want to take questions.
- Demos end at 3:15
- Hang out until 4:30 or until everyone decides to disperse, maybe get a beer
Demos from last last time
- Norton demoed an in-progress p5 app for generating SVGs for rounded pixel fonts,
- Mason showed us updates to his 3D graphics engine (camera controls in portals, animating joints via MIDI) and his Steam Deck's projector attachment,
- Troy walked us through his OSC-controlled TouchDesigner visuals for live shows,
- Will scrolled through ScrollyPage, his un-boring website builder for creative chaos,
- Patrick let us play through his platform fighting game Rock Paper SMASH
What to bring
You don’t need to bring anything, but if you want to show a project (very much encouraged), bring your laptop/sketchbook/etc—and bring your charger just in case.
Venue
The event is at The Company, a mixed-use creative space in LoHi.
2nd floor. Go up the exterior stairs
Parking
There's free street parking and paid lots near the venue. Parking map here
Misc
- We have a discord!
- One of our previous events was a Show & Tell—basically this event except people prepared presentations beforehand. Check out the recap here.
- After every meetup we add things people have mentioned to the group's link archive
