Yin Yoga
Details
Take time to slow down and pause in stillness with this yin style class. This is a meditative practice that aids flexibility and longevity by targeting the fascia, joints and ligaments. Open the body and the mind through gentle long-held postures. Each pose will be held between 3-7 minutes with light, small movements offered in between. Open to all levels and modifications can be offered for a more restorative class. Incense and gentle music may be used.

Briiohn has been teaching for over 3 years as a RYT-200 with additional training in Yin and Somatic Gentle Yoga. Her style is calming and meditative with a focus on finding the support each student needs in order to relax.
Originally drawn to Ashtanga yoga, Briiohn learned how to push the body to its limits and unlock possibilities of asana. Then after being introduced to the many benefits of Yin yoga, she learned how to push the limits of the mind while letting the body rest. When the body is still sometimes the mind begins to race. With a consistent practice, Briiohn’s classes will guide you to notice the patterns in the thoughts through mindfulness. Briiohn offers private yoga sessions to deepen your practice with classes curated just for you.
