Ice Skating at Big Bear Ice Arena (Reservation Required)

Please read the entire description.
It's going to be 98 degrees on Sunday, so come out and cool off. Right now there are only a few public skating places open (and likely will be for quite a while), and Big Bear is currently the best in terms of crowds and price (especially rentals).
If you're new to the group, please come on out! There's no shortage of beginners in the group, and we've had everyone from first-timers, people who haven't ice skated in years, to seasoned skaters. All skating levels encouraged, and we won't laugh if you fall. We're just there to have fun and meet new people.
Big Bear is now offering public skating, but you'll have to do a few steps to attend. The plan is to have at least one session a month here, as long as they're open.
- The only way to sign up for public skating is to pay $5 for a yearly membership (there are no walk ins, and you can't public skate without the membership). Purchase one here:

- After you purchase the membership, you can sign up and pay for public skate. Choose 8/23/20 at 11:00am-12:30pm. Cost is $6, and $3 if you need skate rentals. I think you purchase skate rentals there.

FYI - You'll have to wear a mask in all areas, even on the ice. Session is limited to 50 people, but last time there were only seven total on the ice, which was nice.
We'll meet in the main entrance lobby at 11:00am, and head to the ice by 11:15. Public skating ends at 12:30pm.
