Shamanism: Ancient Practice for Modern Times with Renna Shesso

Details

Shamanism is considered by many to be humankind's first spiritual path, dating back to at least 30,000-50,000 BC. It has existed on every continent, gracefully morphing to fit changing times and circumstances. Shamanism was - and is - a magical path of spiritual alliances with animal-spirits and all the realms of nature, ceremonial healing practices, drumming, singing, dancing, dreaming and journeying… All of us - if we went back far enough in our ancestry - would find shamanic roots.

Please join us for a look at how this ancient practice can be used now, in contemporary life, for enhanced well-being, joy, profound healing and deep spiritual connection.

Renna Shesso, a shamanic healing practitioner and teacher, a reader and teacher of Tarot, and a researcher and writer on a range of spiritual, artistic and Goddess-infused topics. Renna has been teaching about and using the shamanism healing practices since 1991. She has had extensive formal training in core shamanism has come mainly through Sandra Ingerman, but also through direct experience. Renna's most recent studies have been in Sweden, exploring early northern shamanic traditions. Renna is the author of the books ‘Math for Mystics’ and ‘A Magical Tour of the Night Sky.
