JS Systems Presented by Clint Nash

The history of JS reads like a Hollywood adventure epic. We were enlightened with Web 2.0, lived through the Browser Wars, unearthed a 'Cambrian Explosion', and overcame a Zombie Apocalypse. But wait that is not even the best part because (like StarWars) this trilogy continues!

The talk is a discussion that covers all things JS: including the facts, people and stories that surround it. Because like anything, it is important for us to understand our past if we are going to shape the future. That means classifying and organizing the vastly diverse JS ecosystems into distinct sets of systems, and in reading the milestones of where the 'big six' companies are leading us and what it is in store.

JS Systems introduces a D3 web application that visualizes of sheer magnitude JS success. It is a methodology for staying current with incubational topics like "The Web Platform", and in sharing with others epic story of JS - such as 'The FullStack JavaScript Transmigration'. Join us for the introduction of JavaScript Systems and help Denver shape the future - one stack at a time.

Zero downtime deployments with Amazon's Elastic Beanstalk presented by Michael Johnson

This 30 minute presentation will focus on using AWS Elastic Beanstalk to host applications in an auto scaling environment. Using Node.JS we will look at the AWS SDK and how it can be tied into a Continuous Integration/Continuous Development environment such as Jenkins. This will allow us to configure and deploy an application without having to take it offline. All slides and scripts will be made available on Github after the presentation.
